3. Key Objectives of the Job
  • Develop communications strategy for the organization in line with overall strategy with the support of the Director
  • Execute on the strategy
4. Major Deliverables The major responsibilities are:

  1. Works within the department budget to develop cost-effective detailed marketing plans all media channels and programmes
  2. Marketing of all products & services of Arpan to strategic partners to enable access of resources developed by Arpan
  3. Networking & coordinating with leading national & local media as print, electronic, digital/social networking sites; for Arpan, its work and the cause
  4. Manage and execute production of Arpan’s materials and resources in the most cost effective and timely manner without compromising on quality
  5. Ideate, plan, monitor and execute events both internal and external
  6. Approves and oversees the creative development of promotional materials, content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects
  7. Communicates with various agencies, printers, and other services to help marketing projects come to fruition
  8. Tracks all marketing data and creates detailed written reports and verbal presentations to bring to senior executives
  9. Adjusts marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedback
  10. Develop partnerships with companies for organizing awareness talks on CSA, CSR funding and branding
  11. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content correction & sync across platforms
5. Job Challenge Working to create awareness on a topic like child sexual abuse
6. Specialized job competencies Strong communications skills, with an ability to explain Arpan’s story in a concise manner across a diverse stakeholder set

Strong project management skills, with a track record of successful execution of organizational/ department strategy

7. Educational Qualification MBA/PGDBM in Marketing & communications
8. Desired Experience Combination of corporate experience and social sector work. Experience in child sexual abuse or psychology is NOT a requirement. Critical to have extensive experience in a mid-management role that is accountable for communications with an external group. Experience in running teams is an added advantage. 6-8 Years

Ability to work in a small team; interested in setting up and building organizations for the long term
10. Location Mumbai
11. Salary Range 60K to 75K + TRAVEL
