1. Context Arpan’s online learning website has a “Chat With Us” feature that allows site visitors to reach out to us. We are looking for a Learning Support Professional who will respond to those incoming inqueries.

3. Key Objectives of the Job To respond to queries from children, parents and teachers on the website as they browser through and take Arpan’s online courses.
4. Major Deliverables Major responsibilities:

  • Must show a keen interest in Child safety and Child Protection
  • Be aware of frequently asked student questions and their responses
  • Answer student questions that come in through chat, email and phone during Arpan office hours
  • Respond to all off-business hour student queries within a 24 hour period
  • Forward all requests for help and healing to appropriate teams within Arpan.
5. Job Challenge Providing appropriate responses to incoming questions will be a big challenge. This will require the individual to learn Arpan’s educational offering quickly so they can offer valuable responses to our users. Given our work, the incoming queries can also be sensitive in nature, and thus another major challenge will be to offer kind, courteous and valuable responses. Finally, as the number of visitors on the site grows, the applicant will need to multitask and manage several incoming queries.
6. Specialized job competencies An ability to speak and write well in English and Hindi. The applicant should be able to courteously handle all incoming queries.
7. Educational Qualification Graduation/ Post Graduation in Mass Media.
8. Desired Experience 0-3 years in a customer service role
