Bollywood actor Bhagyashree has shown support for Arpan, a non-profit organisation working to prevent Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) in the country. In an Instagram video, Bhagyashree highlighted the need for parents to focus on safety beyond vaccination and seat belts.

Speaking as a mother, she encouraged parents to equip themselves with the right knowledge by accessing age-appropriate personal safety courses available on Arpan’s e-learning platform. By promoting the use of these resources, she aims to help parents feel more confident in initiating conversations that protect children from unsafe situations.

“To protect children from sexual abuse, it is important to make them aware and capable of defending themselves. Parents also need to remain alert and responsive to notice even the smallest behavioural changes in a child,” stated Bhagyashree.
