Nehal Parekh
Nehal has studied Masters in Social Work from College of Social Work, Nirmala Niketan in 2004 and has been working in the development sector for over 16+ years. She has worked with National organisations like Akanksha Foundation, Make A Wish Foundation and Justice and Care, mainly in the field of Child Rights and Education. She has also worked with London Borough of Ealing, Government of UK as a lead child protection practitioner for around 7 years. She has a keen interest in the area of Child Protection and Child Safety & has been actively involved in complex assessments of cases based on risk, danger, ill-treatment or neglect of children and young adults. Nehal is highly skilled in planning and implementing care and support packages for children and families. She has experience in the areas of Program Management, Monitoring and Evaluation and Training and Development.
Nehal Parekh is currently associated with Arpan as "Senior Director – Programmes. She leads the Prevention Services, Mental Health and Training Teams. She is responsible for the ideation and strategic planning for Arpan’s programs and its effective and quality driven service delivery with stakeholders. Along with this she supports the Content & Curriculum vertical at Arpan to ensure that the organization’s content development work is relevant, engaging, and effective. She has been associated with Arpan since 2015.
