Sangeeta Rege
Sangeeta is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in social science research, public health, policy engagement, and gender-responsive systems. A postgraduate in Social Work, she is currently in the final stages of pursuing her PhD.
Her work spans gender, public health, gender-based violence, medico-legal issues related to GBV, and medical education, with extensive experience in research, policy engagement, and working closely with government institutions and policymakers. She brings a strong interdisciplinary perspective to strengthening systems, informing policy, and advancing gender-responsive approaches to health and social development.
Beyond her professional interests, Sangeeta enjoys reading, yoga, and outdoor activities. Her recent favourite books include Constitution Is My Home by Indira Jaising and Mother Mary Comes to Me.
