Mitali Tewari
Mitali Tewari has over two decades of experience working in the financial services industry in India and the US. She was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in Mumbai until November 2025, and worked at the firm for over 18 years in the New York, London and Mumbai offices. At Goldman, she has worked in Investment Banking and also served as Head of HR, Control, Finance & Operations (‘Head of Federation’). She served on the Boards and regulatory committees of Goldman's India business entities for 8 years. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mitali was in the Audit Division of Arthur Andersen/Ernst & Young for 5 years in their New Delhi office.
Mitali graduated from St. Stephen's college (B.A. Hons. Economics) in 2000, is a chartered accountant and earned a MBA from Harvard Business School in 2007.
Previous experience working for non-profit organizations includes serving on the Board of Trustees for YRG Care (2016–2022), a non-profit advancing infectious diseases prevention, treatment, and research in India.
