Since the start of the pandemic in India in March 2020, Arpan, through its various initiatives, has distributed over 12,200 units of grocery kits totalling 184 tonnes that have reached over 61,000 beneficiaries residing in the most marginalised communities in Mumbai. The organisation has also provided mental health support to over 4,400 people to overcome stress, anxiety and depression. As the second wave hit the city, 20 oxygen concentrators and other medical equipment were also provided to Government and private hospitals.

In August 2021, Arpan has been chosen as ‘India’s top 50 Covid Leaders’ by the World Economic Forum and Covid Response Alliance For Social Entrepreneurs. Arpan remains committed to be in the frontline of India’s fight against Covid-19. covid relief.
