Post the awareness session on Child Sexual Abuse with parents in a school, a 72 year old grandmother came to the facilitators to seek permission to attend the subsequent awareness session as well. She communicated that at this age for the first time in her life somebody had told her that the sexual abuse she experienced as a child by her own family member was not her fault. This revelation was something so distant and unbelievable that she wanted to hear it again to believe it.
