Students in 7th grade play a sexual STD’- stare, truth, and dare game at school.

Class 7th in one of the schools where we worked had a game called ‘STD’- Stare, Truth and Dare. This was a sexual game where children across the class stared at other childrens’ private body parts, or spoke about them or indulged in inappropriate touching. When the trainer took sessions on personal safety detailing fundamental premises of empathy, boundaries, respect, a shift was noticed gradually. One of the children later in a session with Arpan counsellor shared that the game had completely stopped.
